OKC heavy noise rockers Chat Pile have just announced their new album "Who Loves the Sun" set for release on September 4, 2026 via The Flenser. The album will feature 10 new tracks including their latest groove heavy single "Deep Blue" once again showcasing Chat Pile's trademark sound. The band's raw and cathartic noise rock style resonates with themes of modern grievances and trying to maintain humanity in a time of anti-humanity, drawing influences from pre-2000s heavy indie/alt-rock, noise rock, sludge, hardcore and new wave with hooks. Channeling the decay and isolation of Oklahoma City, the album captures a sense of impending doom and societal malaise in the 21st century. Check out the latest single "Deep Blue" below and be sure to pre-order what will be one of the best and heaviest albums of 2026. For full detailed official press release, see above.
