Portland Maine rockers Grief Mop announce debut LP for Sunday Drive Records and drop lead single

Drawing inspiration from various aspects alt-rock, emo, post-rock, and shoegaze revival, the band's sound is layered in a distorted wall of guitars and swirling melodies coupled with hard hitting drum and bass tones, reminiscent of artists like Hum, The Appleseed Cast, Mock Orange and My Bloody Valentine. Lead single "Strange World" a heavy slow burner, contains haunting lyrics and distinctively eerie and heavy instrumentation, that would fit right along side other up and comers like Trauma Ray, Glare, Downward, and the like.
