Brooklyn post-shoegaze and alternative rock band Semaphore have released their new single “Bunny,” the first preview of the band’s forthcoming full-length album Despite What You Say.
The 11-track record arrives October 10, 2026 through Candlepin Records. Recorded and mixed by Brian DiMeglio at Brooklyn Recording Paradise and mastered by Adam Cichocki at Timber Studios, Despite What You Say pushes Semaphore’s dense shoegaze atmosphere into a heavier, more direct strain of alternative rock and post-hardcore.
“Bunny” gives the first look at that shift, balancing blown-out guitars and melodic hooks with the kind of tension and weight that should land with fans of Drug Church, Chokecherry and The Joy Formidable.
