Sleepwalk share new single “Jan 22” from View From The Outside

Chicago’s Sleepwalk have shared “Jan 22,” the latest single from View From The Outside, out November 13 via MNRK Heavy. The track brings a softer, dream-pop pull to the band’s mix of shoegaze, ’90s alternative rock and post-hardcore, with shimmering guitars and hazy vocal melodies sitting over a dense rhythm section.

Ryan Davis calls the song a love letter to winter in the city and a broader celebration of life. Written during a snowy walk home from band practice, it finds Sleepwalk leaning into the more atmospheric side of a record tracked at Hum guitarist/vocalist Matt Talbott’s Earth Analog studio with producer Zac Montez.
