Philadelphia hardcore outfit Soul Glo have announced their new album NA I’M GON GRAB ALLAT, out January 15 via Epitaph, and shared the record’s lead single “February Theory.”
The 14-track follow-up to 2022’s Diaspora Problems finds the band continuing to push hardcore, punk, noise and hip-hop into increasingly volatile territory, with the new record featuring appearances from Tunde Adebimpe, Eugene Robinson, MIKE, BbyMutha, Tati Salazar and Mannequin Pussy’s Bear.
“February Theory” opens the album with cascading riffs, crushing breakdowns and backing vocals from Tati Salazar, immediately tapping back into the frantic energy and genre-blurring approach that made Diaspora Problems such a standout.
Recorded at Foto Club in Philadelphia, NA I’M GON GRAB ALLAT explores relationships, resentment, addiction, masculinity and self-discovery across its 14 tracks, with vocalist Pierce Jordan describing much of the record as being rooted in the failures, joy and pain that come with different forms of love.
