Drag Talk

Drag Talk are a Los Angeles band whose sound combines layered shoegaze guitars, ’90s alternative rock and Britpop melody. The project grew from guitarist Ross O’Carroll’s pandemic demos in 2021, bringing together longtime collaborators including vocalist Jutty Taylor and drummer Hayden Scott, who previously played together in Ghost. Their songs pair hazy textures with spacious rhythms and direct, emotive hooks, drawing on the guitar music of Swervedriver, The Verve and The Jesus and Mary Chain.

Following the Dogs and Rosy Crown EPs, their debut album Drink The Ocean arrives October 30, 2026 via MNRK Heavy.
