Drag Talk

Drink The Ocean is the debut album from Los Angeles band Drag Talk, arriving October 30, 2026 via MNRK Heavy. The ten-track record builds on the band’s earlier EPs, bringing shoegaze atmosphere, Britpop melody and the heavier dynamics of ’90s alternative rock into a collection centered on Jutty Taylor’s distinctive vocals.

Recorded with longtime producer Tom Syrowski at his Los Angeles home and Henson Studios, the album explores injustice, femininity and Taylor’s spiritual interests. Brendan O’Brien contributes Hammond organ to the title track, while Olivia Morreale adds backing vocals to “Welcome to the Aeon.”

Lead single “Pony Up” introduces the record through shimmering guitars and an irreverent lyrical perspective. “Would It Kill You” brings a heavier, grunge-influenced turn, balancing guitar weight with a soaring vocal melody. The album is available to preorder on digital, vinyl and CD formats.
