Cleveland, Ohio slow punk / alt-gaze band Honeybee will release their debut LP titled "Only Dark Shit" on May 15, 2026 via Candlepin Records. The album will contain 10 songs of fuzzed out alt-gaze with shoegaze and emotionally charged melodic post-hardcore elements pulled directly from the playbook that all time greats like Hum and even later period Title Fight laid the groundwork for. Three singles "I Remember," "Chest Pain," and "My Buick" are streaming below for a taste of what's to come.

About the LP, the band states "“The name says it all. ONLY DARK SHIT is us diving into the dark stuff and taking comfort in that trauma. We’re all old enough and been through enough that we know how to cope and hide whatever dark shit we have — but that doesn’t make us any less human. We’re still here. Still trying, pretending, coping, etc, in the hopes we get to have moments of life, love, and laughter.”
