Manu return with the fantastic new shoegazing single "Overturned" taken from their forthcoming LP "Earth" out Sept 3rd.

I always get excited when I hear a band sucessfully drawing influences from some of my favorite bands of the 90s, and Manu's new single "Overturned" is no exception. Combining layers of guitars echoing in reverb and feedback, Manu bring a sense of melody and heaviness to their shoegaze infleunced alternative rock that is sure to please fans of Hum, Nothing, Deftones and the like. For an independent release, I'm thoroguhly impressed by the production of this as well. Mastering by Alan Douches certainly paid off. Meanwhile, make sure you listen all the way through, because the breakdown towards the end of this single wouldn't be out of place on a Quicksand or Deftones record! It definitely rocks! I know I'm looking forward to hearing the rest of this LP in full, so I can share some more thoughts on it. Check out single if you like this kind of thing, you won't be disappointed.
