Philadelphia shoegazers Nothing are back better than ever with their latest single "Say Less" taken from their forthcoming LP "The Great Dismal" due out this October on the fantastic Relapse Records. This song is less heavy shoegaze / post-hardcore and more mid/late 90s melodic shoegaze / dream pop meets indie/alt rock, with slick grooves and break beats, pummeling guitar sounds, a soaring melody and their trademark meloncholic vocal delivery. There are hints of industrial in here as well. Whatever it is, it's working for me! I can't wait to hear the rest of this record, and of course, the production from the mighty Will Yip certainly isn't hurting anything here. Be on the look out for this release next month.
