Sleep On It

Based off the 1st single "Under the Moment" from their forthcoming LP Pride & Disaster, Sleep On It continue to progress and polish their melodic pop rock / pop punk sound. This new single brings the energy, melodic sensibility, pop bounce and sing along hooks of other Chicago native bands Real Friends and Knuckle Puck, while not sounding too far removed from the pop punk of the early/mid 2000s. Very reminiscent of what Fall Out Boy sounded like on their earlier albums, when they were still playing anthemic pop punk and before they unfortunately went straight up radio pop. Curious to see how the rest of this LP shapes up, and will have more to say after I hear the whole thing. Don't sleep on this upcoming LP due out early next month...cheesy pun intended.
