In November 2022, UK punk-rock band The Young Hearts returned from their twelve-month hiatus after their debut album, The Modern State, to release their new single, "The Way Back." Since then, the band has released three additional singles, all which will appear on their recently announced second full length LP, ‘Somewhere Through The Night’ set for release on December 1st, 2023 through Year of the Rat Records. Written throughout all the highs and lows of the last three years, the new LP will contain twelve songs that perfectly capture the journey back to doing what The Young Heart's love. The songs on the LP are all very personal and an homage to their hometown, with emotionally driven story-telling pop punk, with big melodies and anthemic choruses, sure to please fans of bands like The Gaslight Anthem, Spanish Love Songs and The Menzingers.
