How To Survive A Fall is the debut full-length from Jacksonville, Florida’s TIDES. Formed in 2023 by longtime Northeast Florida scene veterans, the band follows its split 12-inch with Golf War with an 11-song record rooted in punk rock and post-hardcore, drawing on the melodic urgency of bands like Hot Water Music, Fiddlehead, Iron Chic, Samiam, Ways Away and The Flatliners.

TIDES entered the studio in winter 2025 and came away with 13 songs before narrowing the final album to 11 tracks. The record was recorded and mixed by Paul Lapinski and mastered at the Blasting Room. The lineup on the album is Sean Slater on vocals, Beau Crum and Alex Van Auken on guitars, Chris Jones on bass and Dan Wagler on drums.

How To Survive A Fall arrives September 15, 2026 via A.D.D. Records in the U.S. and Little Rocket Records in Europe. The album is available for pre-order digitally and on limited sea-glass-blue vinyl.
