DIIV have shared “Dare Me,” the final single from their fifth album, ZIRP!, out October 30, 2026 via Fantasy Recordings. Produced by A. G. Cook, the record brings the band’s shoegaze textures into sharper focus around more immediate pop melodies, following earlier singles “The Fountain,” “Kid” and “Trillions.”
The new song premiered as BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Record and arrives with a video directed by Louie Kovatch. It finds the quartet performing in a vacant office, dressed in the business attire that has accompanied the album’s rollout.
Despite Cook’s background in electronic pop, much of the recording centered on the band playing together. “I became a bit obsessed with their live sound, and insisted on recording live drums before most of the songs were even finished,” the producer says.
DIIV have also announced a 2027 world tour spanning Australia, New Zealand, Japan, North America, Europe and the UK. General ticket sales begin October 30 at 10 a.m. local time. Watch “Dare Me” below.
