Atlanta punk band New Junk City have shared “Stay the Same,” the third and final single from their forthcoming fourth album, Where Could I Go?, arriving November 6 via Lauren Records.

The new track explores the complicated emotions that come with the end of a long-term relationship, when romantic love changes but the connection between two people doesn’t simply disappear. Looking back on a decade together, “Stay the Same” wrestles with the memories, promises and shared experiences that remain even after a relationship has run its course. The song also provides the album with its title.

Recorded at Standard Electric with longtime collaborator Damon Moon and produced by Tyler Bisson, the 12-track album finds New Junk City digging deeper into themes of love, loss, compromise and personal growth without abandoning their melodic, emotionally charged punk rock roots. Drawing from influences like The Weakerthans, Green Day and Fucked Up, the Atlanta four-piece balance heartfelt songwriting with punk urgency.

“Stay the Same” follows previously released singles “Lonely Now” and “Shell Game.” Watch the new video below.
