New Junk City Share New Single “Shell Game” From Forthcoming LP Where Could I Go?

Atlanta punk band New Junk City have shared “Shell Game,” the second single from their forthcoming fourth LP, Where Could I Go?, out November 6 via Lauren Records.

The new track takes aim at the compromises that come with work and stability, asking how much of yourself you can trade away before providing for a life starts consuming it. It’s another sharp, emotionally grounded preview of an album centered on love, grief, responsibility and the messy realities of building a life with other people.

Recorded at Standard Electric with longtime collaborator Damon Moon and produced by Tyler Bisson, Where Could I Go? spans 12 tracks and finds New Junk City turning inward without losing the urgency and directness that have long defined the band.
