Scarlet House has released “Blow Your High,” the final single from his debut album Angels, due out August 28.

Stripping his hazy shoegaze sound down to little more than acoustic guitar and intimate vocals, the track centers on the bittersweet realization that a relationship is nearing its end while one person is still trying to hold onto it. Scarlet House describes the song as an exploration of love as a kind of fleeting high, capturing the tension of caring deeply for someone while already seeing the relationship’s finish line.

“Blow Your High” follows “Cherish,” “Running Out Of Time” and “Made For You” as the latest preview of Angels, a 14-track record focused on love, loss, memory and the fragile evolution of relationships.
