Scarlet House

Scarlet House, a 25-year-old one-man band from Charlotte, NC, is making significant waves in the alternative music scene by transforming his profound personal experiences—including a battle with Stage 2 diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and a childhood of homelessness—into raw, authentic songwriting that resonates deeply with audiences worldwide.

His compelling narratives of trials and triumphs have independently garnered tens of millions of streams, bolstered by a strong TikTok presence and notable collaborations with Amira Elfeky and Flawed Mangoes. Recognized by rock legends such as Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit and Ivan Moody of Five Finger Death Punch, Scarlet House continues to build his influence with heartfelt storytelling and a devoted global following, highlighted by the release of his debut mixtape "Homecoming" in the winter of 2024.

Blending influences from the dark intensity of Deftones, The Cure, and Nirvana's grunge heritage with modern rap elements from Lucki and Destroy Lonely, he has forged a nostalgic yet distinctive sound. Following a successful 2025 where he sold out debut headline shows in NYC and LA, completed a full North American small-cap room headline tour, and served as direct support for Jutes, Scarlet House is poised for further ascent with his debut album slated for release in 2026, solidifying his place as a standout figure in rock music.

Scarlet House Releases New Album Angels

Scarlet House has released his new album Angels today. The 14-track record follows his 2024 mixtape Homecoming and marks his first proper full-length album.

Across Angels, the Charlotte one-man project pushes further into its hazy mix of shoegaze, grunge and atmospheric alternative rock, pairing heavy, washed-out guitars with melodic hooks and a dark, emotionally charged undercurrent. The record traces the rise and unraveling of a relationship, moving through love, nostalgia, emotional dependency and the difficulty of letting go.

If you’re into the darker, dreamier side of Deftones, The Cure and Nirvana, along with the current wave of heavier shoegaze and nu-gaze, Angels is well worth checking out.

Scarlet House Shares Intimate New Single “Blow Your High” From Debut Album Angels

Scarlet House has released “Blow Your High,” the final single from his debut album Angels, due out August 28.

Stripping his hazy shoegaze sound down to little more than acoustic guitar and intimate vocals, the track centers on the bittersweet realization that a relationship is nearing its end while one person is still trying to hold onto it. Scarlet House describes the song as an exploration of love as a kind of fleeting high, capturing the tension of caring deeply for someone while already seeing the relationship’s finish line.

“Blow Your High” follows “Cherish,” “Running Out Of Time” and “Made For You” as the latest preview of Angels, a 14-track record focused on love, loss, memory and the fragile evolution of relationships.

Scarlet House Shares New Single “Running Out Of Time” From Debut Album Angels

Scarlet House has shared his new single “Running Out Of Time”, the latest preview of his debut album Angels, out August 28.

The track pushes the Charlotte one-man shoegaze act toward brighter guitars and a cathartic, bittersweet chorus, while still holding onto the dark romantic pull that has run through his recent material. It lands in the middle stretch of Angels, where Scarlet House frames a relationship around the uneasy feeling of knowing something is slipping away.

“There’s a common theme among these middle few songs of impending doom in the relationship,” Scarlet House says of the single. “Just holding onto something that you know you need to let go of.”

Angels follows Scarlet House’s 2024 release Homecoming and expands on his mix of hazy guitars, atmospheric production, and emotionally direct songwriting. The 14-track album also includes previous single “Cherish,” along with songs such as “With You,” “Fly,” “Oceans,” “Who We Were,” and “Chemtrails.”
