Baltimore heavy alternative rock band Dosser have shared “Make You Drown,” the latest single from their forthcoming sophomore album, Born for Nothing/Born by Mistake, arriving December 11 via Iodine Recordings.
Dense, melodic and packed with heavy, distorted guitars, “Make You Drown” leans into the band’s love of ’90s alternative rock, blending grunge-heavy riffs, post-hardcore intensity and shoegaze atmosphere without sacrificing the hooks. It’s another taste of Dosser’s evolving sound, one that should appeal to fans of Failure, HUM, Shiner, Narrow Head and Soul Blind.
The eight-track album follows 2023’s Violent Picture / Violent Sound and was recorded, produced and mixed by Jon Markson (Drug Church, Drain, Koyo) and mastered by Mike Kalajian. The record explores themes of isolation, exhaustion and disconnection while further developing the band’s balance of heaviness, melody and atmosphere.
