Always You

Against The World marks a sharper, more physical turn for Los Angeles twins Christoph and Anton Hochheim. Out November 13, 2026 via Hit the North Records, the album follows 2021’s Bloom Off the Rose and was produced by Jack Tatum of Wild Nothing, who worked with the brothers to break down and rebuild the record’s arrangements.

The duo’s sophisti-pop sheen is still present, but the palette is broader and more volatile: heavy guitars and sheets of white noise clash with drum-and-bass and house beats, chopped vocal samples and soaring melodies. At the same time, the ballads retain the emotional polish that has long connected Always You to ’80s UK sophisti-pop and dream pop.

Guests include China Crisis singer Gary Daly on “Lone Luxury,” Lou Rebecca on several tracks and Jordana Nye on “Heart On A Pedestal.” Second single “1994” turns nostalgia and the desire to retreat into an imagined past into bittersweet, colorful dream pop, while the title track opens the record with a more forceful glimpse of this heavier new direction.
