Yummm

Sillyputty, the new album from Yummm, arrives November 13, 2026. Written, produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by Matty Bedrosian, it moves between lo-fi bedroom pop, guitar-driven alternative rock and slower, more reflective passages.

The record grew out of Bedrosian’s increasingly settled life in Los Angeles and the freedom of a permanent home studio. Distorted guitars provide a common thread as he experiments with different arrangements and vocal approaches. Lauren Anderson, also known as Idle Empress, contributes vocals to “Hog Heaven,” “Plug” and “Go There,” while CASANDRA appears on “Juggling.”

Lead single “Plug” pairs hushed melodic vocals with a driving beat, crunchy rhythm guitars and a sharp lead riff. Its lyrics consider dependence on technology for connection and the difficulty of stepping away from the devices and apps that shape everyday interaction.

The cover features Ruth de la Cruz’s painting Un hilo enredado (“A tangled thread”). Stream “Plug” below ahead of the album’s release.
