Anberlin

CURRENCY is Anberlin’s ninth studio album and the band’s first full-length release to feature Matty Mullins as lead vocalist. Due November 11, 2026 via Equal Vision Records, the eleven-track record follows Mullins’ recording debut with Anberlin on two songs from 2024’s Vega and marks the beginning of a new era for the long-running alternative rock band.

Produced by Anberlin alongside Kellen McGregor of Memphis May Fire, CURRENCY draws from previously unfinished material while giving Mullins room to put his own stamp on the songs. The band describes the record as moving through heartbreak, loss, addiction, shame and renewal, balancing larger rock songs with more reflective moments.

The album is introduced by “NEVERAFTER,” released alongside a music video directed by drummer Nathan Young and Jacob Moniz. Other announced tracks include “Highstakes” and “Trenches,” which features Switchfoot.
