Deux Visages Announce Debut Album Call It Goodbye, Share “Automatic”

Philadelphia trio Deux Visages have announced their debut album, Call It Goodbye, arriving November 6 via Pure Noise Records, and shared the new single and video “Automatic.”
Featuring Daphney Hanono, Jack Chiu and Tony Jouvin, Deux Visages have spent the past few years developing a guitar-forward mix of dream-pop, indie rock and shoegaze, pairing hazy, feedback-soaked textures with soaring melodies and sudden bursts of heavier distortion. Call It Goodbye was recorded in Miami with longtime collaborator Arquimides “Arkii” Cala, who also worked on the band’s earliest material.
“Automatic” looks back at the upheaval surrounding the band’s first record deal and early days on the road. Hanono describes that period as one where major changes were happening quickly while the band struggled with feelings of inadequacy and whether they were ready for everything happening around them.
That tension fits the larger coming-of-age theme running through Call It Goodbye, a record about uncertainty, growing pains and figuring out what parts of the past you’re ready to leave behind.
